Selling by Auction
Should you have a single item for sale, or a full house contents, we have the expertise and customers to ensure a successful outcome for you. We hold two auctions of Fine and General Antiques each calender month with payment to our vendors within 14 days of sale. We also hold On The Premises auctions on a regular basis and, where suitable, accept items from other vendors for inclusion in these executor house contents sales. Should you wish to consign goods for any of our auctions please contact us by email or telephone 049 8550055 and we will advise as regards the best option for you.
Goods for sale can be delivered in person to our auction rooms, or collection can be arranged with our recommended carrier Mr. John Reilly at 086 1721676. John is an experienced and very reasonable carrier who collects nationwide.
Our Oldcastle auction room is open 10am – 1pm and 2pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday for acceptance of consignments. It is however best to ring beforehand to ensure a valuer is in attendance when you arrive, the phone number to ring is 049 8550055. Items can also be delivered in person, but by prior arrangement only, to our Capel Street Dublin 1 office, please ring 01 8729555. This office is not generally open to the public and is used as a store & collection depot only.
We are also happy to travel to value items in-situ that are being considered for sale by auction. This service is offered free of charge.
We provide complete and specialist advice on all Antique Furniture, Irish Art and other European Oil paintings & Watercolours, Silver, Fine Jewellery, Rugs, Continental and Oriental Works of Art, Ceramics, Books, Wine, Watches, Collectables, etc.
We also include modern and contemporary furniture in our general sales but these entries must be of high quality.
